December has come and gone! It’s the perfect time to reminisce and recollect the Best Tuned Cars Of 2019. We have had hundreds of phenomenal vehicles in our workshop this year, it would be virtually impossible to pick one as the stand out car. So, we have picked 5 vehicles that stood out for us. All of the vehicles featured are compatible with our bespoke chip tuning box. None of them overwrite the protocols of the engine control unit. This means the chip tuning system is completely traceless once removed. Read on to find out more information on how we manage to achieve such incredible power gains, from a box the size of a mobile phone!

Audi RS6 V8

With our CRTD4 Quad Channel Petrol Tuning Box installed:
Power was increased from 560 to 627 BHP
Torque was increased from 700 to 770 NM 

This particular performance vehicle needs no introduction. The Audi RS6 V8 with 560 bhp and 700 nm torque. A definitive firm favourite for a vast majority of our staff members. 0-60 times are blisteringly fast. The noise it makes is truly wonderous. And, it’s cheaper to buy than it’s rivals (Mercedes E63, Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport). The pick of the bunch as they say! The best thing about this one is that with a touch of TDI-Tuning magic, the power figures can be improved even more!

Audi engine tuning is something we know quite a bit about, as we tune 35 models and 365 different variants. This Audi RS6 is certainly a worthy contender on our top 5 vehicles. We currently offer a traceless tuning box for the 560, 605, & 600 bhp variant of the RS6. The thing we love most about tuning the RS6 is how well it handles the additional power. The intelligent 4wd system eases the power onto the road with unparalleled precision. A true masterpiece. The TDI-Tuning box really is the route to take if you want more power from your RS6. Nobody wants to invalidate their warranty on a high-performance vehicle like this one. The TDI-Tuning box is traceless once removed, so there are no concerns over warranty.

 

BMW X5 M50D

With our CRTD4 Twin Channel Diesel Tuning Box installed:
Power was increased from 400 to 488 BHP
Torque was increased from 760 to 882 NM 

This was another easy choice to put in our top 5. The BMW M50d Quad Turbo 394 bhp. Anything with 4 turbochargers has got to make the list, right? This astonishing vehicle already has 394 bhp at it’s disposal. But if you can achieve more power from your vehicle, why wouldn’t you? Especially if it is a traceless TDI-Tuning box. The owner of this one was thrilled with the enlivened M50d. The additional power can be felt in all the gears. After a short plug and play install the car is enhanced and improved by chip tuning.

One area where we were incredibly impressed with this car was the smoothness of the power delivery. The 4 turbochargers work in perfect harmony and deliver the power seamlessly. With the TDI-Tuning box involved it adds to the excitement, but, it doesn’t take away any of the driving characteristics or qualities. We have had a huge amount of interest in our chip tuning box for this particular model this year. We offer a tuning box for the 381 bhp triple turbo and the newest model, 400 bhp quad turbo. The tuning box helps alleviate some of that cumbersome feel. Almost like taking the weight off, without having to take anything off!

 

Mercedes AMG CLA35

With our CRTD4 Sent Multi Channel Petrol Tuning Box installed:
Power was increased from 306 to 364 BHP
Torque was increased from 400 to 468 NM 

If you own an AMG Mercedes then you can expect punchy performance and a great noise from the exhaust. This Mercedes CLA35 is no different. Also, doesn’t it look stunning in red? We think so! We had to include this in our top 5 simply because it is a fantastic car in so many ways. The 2.0 turbo petrol engine propels the Mercedes to 60mph in under 5 seconds. This same engine also features in the AMG A35, an equally stunning car to drive. This is a sublime choice of car if you want a combination of performance and stylish aesthetics.

The stand out point for us in this Mercedes CLA35 has to be the gearbox. The seven-speed dual clutch automatic has the ability to change gears at lightning pace. This means it works perfectly with the TDI chip tuning box. No power is lost when the power is transferred from the engine. The drivetrain and traction make sure of it! The owner of this one was thrilled with the results. The Mercedes CLA 35 and AMG A35 have undergone the TDI-Tuning treatment. We currently offer 391 variants across the AMG Mercedes range. So, there is a good chance, if you own one we can tune it!

 

Ford Ranger F150

With our CRTD4 Multi Channel Petrol Tuning Box installed:
Power was increased from 450 to 518 BHP
Torque was increased from 690 to 759 NM 

The Ford Ranger is one of the most popular vehicles we tune. Both the 2.2 and the 3.2 engines can achieve considerable power increases respectively. This Ford Ranger is a slightly different breed to the others though. A 3.5 litre petrol engine powers this Ranger F150. This 444bhp beast is as close to a monster truck you can get. Fords performance pick-up! We don’t use the word “performance” lightly here either, because it certainly performs. But, it would perform, because it has the same engine from the Ford GT. You know, the supercar? Albeit, it has been detuned. This means it is a great engine for us to get our hands on. There is plenty of power waiting to be unlocked by optimizing the engine sensor readings.

The shocks on this F150 are heavy duty, and, it has an insane amount of power. This massive pick-up already has a go-anywhere ability. Now it can go anywhere, but much faster. The readings taken from the Rangers engine sensors are optimised and sent to the ECU. This means more power, more torque, and more enjoyment! As the Ford Ranger is one of our most popular vehicles that undergo the chip tuning treatment it would have been unfair to leave it out of our top 5. We offer 293 Ford makes and models in our vehicle database. Including over 20 Ford Ranger variants. They work tremendously with the TDI-Tuning box to achieve more power, and even more fuel economy!

 

 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

With our CRTD4 Triple Channel Diesel Tuning Box installed:
Power was increased from 240 to 302 BHP
Torque was increased from 500 to 595 NM 

Although this vehicle may seem slightly out of place on our list of top cars in 2019, there is a good reason why it fits in perfectly. The 2.0 diesel engine in this Tiguan features in a multitude of other makes and models. This vehicle ties everything together. This 2.0 VAG engine features in so many places. We couldn’t look past it’s versatility. Although it may not be the sportiest engine, it’s certainly getting it’s value for money. If you are racking your brain trying to figure out where this 2.0 engine features elsewhere, here are a few:

Audi A3, A4, A5, A6, Q3, Q5

Seat Leon, Alhambra, Alteca, Arona

Volkswagen Golf, T-Roc, Passat, CC

We picked this Tiguan as it’s undeniably pretty. Not even “for an SUV”, but as a vehicle in general. The R-Line trim gives it several touches of class throughout. The engine, as mentioned, is refined, tried and tested. It didn’t become one of the most popular SUV’s in the UK by chance, it’s a fantastic vehicle. A stable, safe, and reliable SUV. What more can you ask for? Other than more power and torque of course. This is exactly the effect the TDI-Tuning box has on this VW. The torque increase is the most notable talking point. Plant your foot on the throttle and you will not be disappointed. An additional 95 nm of torque does not go unnoticed.
