Developing Our Tuning Box Maps

Our tuning boxes have 7 maps for each vehicle - using these we are able to adjust the performance increase through the acceleration curve delivering optimum performance on every setting.

For commercial customers looking to increase towing ability and economy, they can select setting 1 which will increase power and torque at the lower rev ranges allowing for better economy. The domestic consumer could select map 7 which will increase power and torque through the entire rev range allowing for better performance at both low end and top speeds. We fully test and adjust all 7 maps individually for every model varient to ensure a safe and reliable tuning solution.

 

TWIN Channel

As with our single channel tuning boxes our twin channel adjusts the fuel to air ratio to create a better combustion resulting in the performance and economy increase. The second channel greatly reduces turbo lag by changing the timing of the turbo delivery.

With our CRTD4 TWIN Channel Tuning Box Installed:
Power was increased from 187 to 247 Bhp
Torque was increased from 450 to 536 Nm
And Fuel efficiency is increased by 4-6 Mpg
