Jack, the owner of this Audi A6 Le Mans has covered 16,800 miles with his TDI-Tuning Box fitted. The vehicle is used for travelling to his place of work. He regularly covers 100 miles a day on average. Having owned the TDI-Tuning Box on a previous car, a change of job meant that he needed something that could eat up the motorway miles. The long commute to work meant he needed something reliable, but, still fun to drive.
“The TDI-Tuning Box is the best modification I have ever bought for a car. The actual box has worked out free, as I have achieved an additional 4/5 MPG on my long trips to work. So, I have spent so much less on fuel. I love having the extra power ready to go, I normally leave the box on mode 7, the most powerful setting. Even on this setting I get a better MPG. I have taken it to be serviced twice and it has also had a MOT in this time. It sailed through the MOT and I removed the box for the services, so it was like the tuning box was never there. All in all, it’s a seriously good bit of kit. As I have already said, it’s paid for itself over the year and a half I have been running it.”

Does the TDI-Tuning Box effect the longevity of the engine?
No. The TDI-Tuning Box will increase the power output of your vehicle. How you drive determines how much strain you put on your engine. If you drive harder, you can expect engine wear to increase. Driving your vehicle hard, with or without a TDI-Tuning Box, will increase engine wear. We have installed our custom tuning box to brand new vehicles, and, vehicles that have covered over 200,000 miles. They have not had a single issue with additional engine wear. It all comes down to driving style! The reason you might see some people state that it does increase wear is simple. The extra power achieved from our TDI-Tuning Box, and remaps too, make you want to drive the car harder! With all that extra power available at the bottom of your right foot, it's hard not to use it! The TDI-Tuning Box works alongside your ECU. It cannot over boost, or over fuel your engine or turbo. Rest assured, some of our customers have completed a staggering number of miles with the box fitted.

Emily, the driver of this BMW 116d works as a finance representative. This means a fair amount of driving, both motorway and A roads. The vehicle given to her was this lovely 116d. The engine is capable of so much more, as the 116d shares the same engine as the 118d and the 120d. The TDI-Tuning Box gives the BMW extra pulling power for motorway slip lanes. On top of the extra power, the fuel efficiency is also improved.
"I am loving using the TDI-Tuning Box on my car. It makes it so much nicer to drive. As it's not my car I was a little bit hesitant getting a tuning box.
