Tuning The Vauxhall Astra VXR

The Vauxhall Astra VXR is one of the top hot hatch vehicles available on the market. With the Astra having a strong following, this Astra had a lot to live up to when released. This Astra was brought to our head office in Chelmsford, Essex to have our CRTD4 MULTI-Channel fitted. After reading reviews for other tuning solutions, the owner of this VXR likes the ability to remove the tuning box reverting the vehicle back to standard.

Our CRTD4 MULTI-Channel Tuning Box works in harmony with the vehicle's ECU allowing us to provide the safest tuning solution.

With our CRTD4 MULTI-Channel Tuning Box installed:- 
Power was increased from 276 to 339 Bhp 
Torque was increased from 400 to 468 NM

Our CRTD4 Tuning Boxes are individually programmed to each vehicle variant, providing a safe and bespoke tuning solution. Although the tuning box market has been around for years, the core of the tuning box has changed drastically in previous years. Our CRTD4 Tuning Box systems all run a micro processor fast enough to read and alter the live data between the sensors and the ECU. This hardware is designed to hold 7 unique maps for each vehicle but also be reprogrammed so should the customer change vehicle they can have their tuning box reprogrammed and then fitted to their next vehicle.

 

We see many vehicles from all manufacturers, but this Vauxhall Astra VXR stood out both for the aesthetics and the performance when standard. This Vauxhall is now producing 339Bhp and 468Nm which makes it one of the most desirable hatchbacks available.
