Tuning For Off-Roading

It's a common complaint on Land Rover vehicles that they are fuel 'guzzlers' and one of the big reasons for our customers purchasing our range of tuning products is to help improve the economy, with greater power and torque leading to important fuel savings.

This wasn't a concern for our latest Land Rover customer though. He was looking to increase the power of his vehicle to help him better cope with his off-roading hobby. TDI-Tuning were able to increase the power of his vehicle significantly (although we couldn’t do anything for the dirt!)

 

With our CRTD4 TWIN Channel Tuning Box installed:

Power was taken from 242 to 305 Bhp

Torque was taken from 600 to 696 Nm

and fuel efficiency will be increased by 4-6 Mpg

 

Performance improvements were instantly noticed by the customer, he loved how much more responsive the vehicle was. Now we’re looking forward to feedback from some off-road testing, those hills will be no match for the increased horsepower.

CRTD4 Tuning Box

The CRTD4 tuning box installed by TDI-Tuning engineers is extremely hardy and all of the components are water resistant. When the tuning box is installed in the default position at the top of the engine there is almost zero chance it would be the point of failure in a flood.
